A Collection of My Tales

Broken - but not beaten

“In order to write about life first you must live it.”– Ernest Hemingway.

My mum was a Leo with a huge strength of character. Whilst not the easiest woman, she taught me how to cope with everything life has thrown at me. I was second in command of my Mother’s pride (our family).
My brothers both suffered brain disorders. One had cerebral palsy and the other developed Korsakoff dementia. This had a profound effect on our family and again, writing about this has been an outlet for me.
Reflections on my life’s journey so far. I have found keeping a journal very cathartic. Whatever challenges I have faced, the process of putting things on record in this way has been very helpful. I recommend it to anyone!
Why am I Blogging? I will touch on many complex subjects, all from personal experience. If I can help one person not to feel alone – that is my goal.
Family Matters Nothing is more important in our lives. Mine has given me a rollercoaster ride but I would not change my amazing dysfunctional family for anything!
